Just a mile or two west of the better known Llech y Drybedd, Trellyffant is not a middle earth megalithic beast but rather just a muddle of large stones. Llech y Drybedd acts as a northern foresight to Bardsey from Pentre Ifan - it stands directly in line with Bardsey and Pentre Ifan, on the very top of the ridge which prevents intervisibility between these two locations. Llech y Drybedd connects an observer at Pentre Ifan with Bardsey, perhaps as a sign-post to this Otherworld.

The heading is wrong - the correct spelling s Drybedd - it's Welsh - obviously - and it's the name given to a three legged milking stool which the henge depicts - of the history - who knows ?
